A Modern Home on Tofo Beach Mozambique
CASA DO MAR is a three storey building on the main beach and offers spectacular views of the main beach right up to Barra Point. The Guest House offers 9 luxurious en-suite bedrooms. These bedrooms are all en-suite and air conditioned. Four of the rooms have verandas overlooking the beautiful ocean and the beach.
The sundeck and swimming pool area offers guests privacy and the opportunity to relax and soak up the sun while listening to the sea. Enjoy a drink on the veranda overlooking the ocean where whales and dolphins are a regular sight. DSTV and Movies are available in the restaurant area. In case of a power failure we have a 82 KVA generator for back up.
This luxury Guest House, CASA DO MAR, is proudly owned by Jakkie & Daphne Massyn. Jakkie & Daphne were both in the banking industry for several years before they started their own business in the motor trade which they ran f or the past 18 years. Jakkie is a keen fisherman and also does fishing charters for guests in the guesthouse boat. The boat, MASTER JACK, is fully equipped for game and billfish.

All rooms have double beds 4 can sleep double or twin and 1 family room can sleep double and 2 single.

Four of the rooms have verandas overlooking the beautiful ocean and the beach.

Each room is equiped with a safe for your valuables, small bar fride, hair dryer and flat iron for the ladies.

Fresh towels are supplied for the bathrooms and the swimming pool. Unfortunately no beach towels are provided.

Each bathroom has its own hand wash as well as hair and body wash dispensers.

Each bedroom is also equipped with its own tea and coffee making facility.

We stayed at Casa for about 8 days. For 5 out of 8, the weather was pretty dismal due to an off shore cyclone. However, the wonderful staff, superb room and excellent restaurant made this a fabulous stay. The owner was away on vacation in Cape Town, but the staff, Sergio, Itu, Gonsalvo, Adriano, Shova and Maria, ran the place like clockwork.
Nice clean rooms. Beautifull view from veranda and from some rooms. Friendly owner. Great food. They bake grat cakes free of charge.
Well first you were made welcome by the staff on your arrival.Nice people and they can talk English.The rooms are amazing and i was not expecting this standard at all very nice.I must say the high light was sitting up top in the morning …
